The Baumalight CXC542-HX530 is a heavy-duty excavator-mounted rotary brush cutter and disc mulcher engineered for 3 to 15-ton excavators. Combining the rugged CXC542 cutter platform with the high-efficiency HX530 hydraulic motor, this attachment is designed to clear dense vegetation, thick brush, fence lines, trails, and small trees with exceptional speed and precision. Its wide 42-inch cutting width and powerful mulching action make it an ideal solution for contractors, municipalities, forestry operations, utility maintenance, and large-scale land-clearing projects.
Powered by the premium HX530 motor, the CXC542-HX530 operates within a 15–25 GPM hydraulic flow range, delivering reliable cutting performance while maximizing hydraulic efficiency. The cutter is equipped with three reversible ½-inch AR400 steel slasher blades featuring a dual-tip cutting profile that provides two cuts per pass. This advanced blade design produces 26–52 slashes per second, allowing operators to efficiently mulch brush and trees up to 5 inches in diameter down to ground level.
Built to withstand demanding jobsite conditions, the CXC542-HX530 features a rugged ¼-inch AR400 steel deck, durable powder-coated finish, and heavy-duty chain curtain system for improved debris containment and operator safety. The weld-free curtain rod design absorbs impacts more effectively, helping extend service life in harsh environments while maintaining dependable performance.
