Vestil VDKR Steel Safety Railings provide reliable fall protection for workers on mezzanine edges, elevated walkways, loading docks, and industrial platforms. Constructed from schedule 10 steel pipe with a 1-5/8" outside diameter, these heavy-duty railings are built to handle the rigors of daily industrial use while maintaining a clean, professional appearance. With handrails set at 42" high and a 21" mid-rail, the VDKR series meets OSHA General Industry requirements for guardrail systems under 29 CFR 1910.29, giving facility managers the confidence of full regulatory compliance right out of the box.
Designed for maximum installation flexibility, VDKR railings are available in lengths ranging from 24" to 120" and support four distinct mounting configurations — socket sleeves, cast steel bases, barricade bases, and cast steel sockets — to suit permanent or temporary setups alike. Each unit comes with two pre-drilled lag-down holes for secure permanent mounting, while cast steel socket models (VDKR-P) accept 2" × 4" or 2" × 6" wood toe boards when floor-level containment is required. A baked-in powder-coated finish is available in a wide range of colors to support zone identification and visibility standards across your facility.
