The Vestil Self-Closing Steel Gates (SPG Series) are designed to improve workplace safety by securing access points in industrial railings, platforms, mezzanines, ladder openings, and elevated work areas. Featuring a spring-loaded self-closing mechanism, these gates automatically return to the closed position after use, helping maintain continuous fall protection and reducing the risk of accidental openings. The adjustable-width design allows quick installation across a range of opening sizes, making it a versatile solution for warehouses, manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, and maintenance platforms.
Constructed from durable steel and available in either high-visibility yellow powder-coated or corrosion-resistant galvanized finishes, these safety gates can be mounted for left- or right-hand operation using the included hardware. Designed to fit horizontal rail systems with rails up to 2 inches in diameter and spaced 10 to 21 inches apart, the gates help facilities meet OSHA 1910.28(b)(3)(iv) requirements for ladderway and platform opening protection.
