OVERVIEW

When you need to handle heavy rock, dense brush, mixed debris, or large natural materials — whether on construction sites, landscaping jobs, agricultural properties, or land-clearing operations — the right attachment makes all the difference. The Haugen Industrial Rod Grapple transforms your skid steer loader into a powerful rock- and brush-handling machine, designed to meet the demands of the toughest jobs while delivering long-term durability and reliable performance.

This grapple is built for serious work. The Industrial Rod Grapple features heavy-duty 1" × 1.5" curved flat-bar tines (rods) spaced 3 inches apart, creating an open-rod bottom that lets dirt, sand, and smaller particles fall through — while retaining larger materials like rocks, logs, brush, and construction debris. This sifting action makes it ideal for tasks like rock picking, clearing stone from land, removing brush or fallen trees, cleaning up after demolition, or managing debris piles.

Thanks to its dual independent grapple claws with industrial 2.5" × 10" cylinders, the grapple offers strong, balanced clamping force — even on irregular, uneven loads. Whether you're grabbing jagged stones, logs, or tangled brush, the claws operate independently to ensure a secure grip without shifting loads, minimizing spillage or load loss when transporting materials.

Durability is built in. The tines are heavy-duty flat bars, the pivot points are greaseable for smooth maintenance, and hydraulic hoses are routed carefully with abrasion sleeves to prevent wear and damage during rugged usage. A weld-on tooth bar with replaceable teeth enhances bite and digging capability, and the entire assembly is protected with a powder-coat finish to resist rust, wear, and environmental exposure.

For machine compatibility, the Industrial Rod Grapple mounts via a universal skid-steer quick-attach plate, making it suitable for most standard skid steer loaders. It comes in two main sizes (76" and 84" bucket width), giving flexibility depending on the capacity of your skid steer and the volume of material you expect to handle.

This attachment excels at jobs where you need to separate materials — letting dirt and fines drop away while hauling off rocks, brush, logs, and debris — making it perfect for landscaping, site cleanup, rock clearing, forestry debris removal, demolition waste handling, and more. With heavy-duty construction and industrial-grade components, the Haugen Industrial Rod Grapple is built to last through years of tough work, providing consistent performance and reducing downtime and maintenance costs.

If you demand reliability, efficiency, and versatility from your skid steer attachments — and want an industrial-grade tool that can handle rock, brush, and debris — this grapple delivers exactly that.

FAQs

What is an industrial rod grapple used for?

An industrial rod grapple is designed for heavy-duty rock handling, brush cleanup, land clearing, demolition debris removal, and material sorting. Its open-rod bottom allows dirt and fines to fall through while retaining large materials like rocks, logs, and debris.

Can it handle demolition debris?

Yes — the industrial-grade construction and strong cylinders make it ideal for lifting concrete chunks, broken materials, roofing debris, lumber, and demolition waste.

What maintenance does an industrial rod grapple need?

Regularly grease all pivot points, inspect hoses, check cylinder hardware, and clean debris from the rods for optimal performance.
