Built with heavy-duty hydraulic cylinders and ½" plate steel sides, the 170-66 is constructed to withstand the harshest operating conditions and the most demanding work cycles. The built-in covers protect hydraulic fittings and cylinders from impact and debris ingress, extending service life and reducing maintenance downtime. Grease zerks are shielded with protective tubes to ensure easy, reliable lubrication even in muddy, rocky, or abrasive environments — keeping this grapple working at peak performance day after day.
The 170-66 is available in a Demolition Grade configuration, which is especially recommended for track-style skid steers and machines with 70 HP or 3,500 lbs. lifting capacity or greater — making it a highly adaptable tool across a wide fleet of equipment. An optional set of intermediate bottom tines is also available, reducing the spacing between tines to approximately 4" for finer material retention when the job demands it.
