OVERVIEW
When demolition waste, broken concrete, brush piles, or mixed debris stand between you and a clean, safe jobsite — you don’t need a standard bucket. You need a grapple rake built to grab, clamp, and clear. The Haugen Grapple Rake for Skid Steers is engineered exactly for those tough scenarios: demolition cleanup, wreckage removal, brush clearing, and waste hauling.
This attachment is designed to combine the holding force of a grapple with the versatility and loading capacity of a bucket — giving you the ability to grab and carry heavy, irregular loads that would otherwise scatter or slip from a traditional bucket. With a 53" clam-opening, strong structural design, and replaceable bucket teeth, this rake makes quick work of challenging cleanup jobs.
At the heart of the Grapple Rake is a bolt-on/reinforced bucket with heavy-duty steel rake teeth — built from 3/4" thick T-1 steel for the bucket base and 1/2" Grade-50 steel for the rake teeth. This robust construction allows the rake to withstand the impact and abrasion typical of demolition, scrap, and debris handling. The rake teeth can be replaced as they wear, extending the long-term usefulness of the attachment.
The grapple mechanism is powered by 3" x 10" industrial hydraulic cylinders, mounted with built-in cylinder guards for added protection — making them suitable for rigorous demolition sites or scrap yards. The design also includes a spring-loaded hose guide to minimize hydraulic hose damage during heavy-duty operation.
For adaptability, the Grapple Rake is available in at least two size variants: a 78" bucket width (HGR 78) and an 86.5" bucket width (HGR 86), giving you flexibility depending on your skid steer size and workload. With 10 or 11 rake teeth respectively and substantial bucket width, the rake can load large debris, demolition waste, brush, or scrap in fewer passes — drastically improving cleanup efficiency.
Whether you’re running a small contractor operation, managing demolition waste, working in a scrap yard, or doing landscaping and brush cleanup — the Haugen Grapple Rake converts your skid steer into a powerful debris-handling machine. It reduces load spillage, increases load volume per pass, and delivers the reliability and durability needed for frequent heavy-duty jobs.
