The Baumalight IXP508G is a pivoting excavator tree shear designed for 3–10 ton excavators. With a full 90° rotation, this shear allows operators to fell trees upright or cut limbs horizontally, handling trees up to 8 inches in diameter. Equipped with an individually moving grabber arm and a fixed curved cradle bar, the IXP508G ensures secure handling of sheared limbs, improving safety and workflow efficiency.
Constructed from tough AR400 steel, the IXP508G is capable of cutting softwoods and hardwoods like oak, ash, and maple. Grease pins and hardened bushings at all pivot points ensure long-term durability. Hydraulic hoses are protected by internal routing and double-sleeving with pivoting arms, preventing pinching or damage. Optional in-cab hand controls allow operation on excavators without AUX electrical connections.
