The Baumalight ISH918G is a high-capacity horizontal tree shear designed for 7,000–18,000 lb. class skidsteers. It can shear vertical trees and saplings up to 18 inches in diameter, making it ideal for large-scale forestry, land clearing, and landscaping operations. The shear is equipped with robust AR400 steel grabber arms and a fixed curved cradle bar, ensuring sheared trees and limbs are moved safely to the desired location. A specialized hydraulic system delivers rapid arm movement with strong pull, securing trees before they can fall out of reach.
Constructed from abrasion-resistant AR400 steel, the ISH918G excels at cutting both softwoods and hardwoods such as oak, ash, and maple. Blade adjusting cams allow precise alignment for clean cuts. Grease pins and hardened steel bushings reduce wear and extend the lifespan of pivot points. Double-shielded hoses and a pivoting support arm protect hydraulic lines from pinching or strain.
