The Baumalight 3P40 HPR 3-Point Hitch PTO Stump Grinder is the most powerful PTO-driven stump grinder in Baumalight’s lineup, engineered for tractors with 60–120 HP and a 1,000 RPM PTO. Designed for commercial land clearing, forestry operations, municipalities, and large-scale property maintenance, the 3P40 combines a heavy-duty 34-inch rotor, 52 carbide-tipped teeth, and a high-performance gearbox to deliver exceptional stump grinding power and productivity. Its direct PTO drive system ensures maximum power transfer from the tractor to the cutting wheel for fast and efficient stump removal.
Built for demanding applications, the 3P40 features a rugged HPR gearbox capable of handling up to 125 engine HP and generating an impressive 1,327 ft-lbs of hub torque. The 52 replaceable carbide teeth aggressively chip away at stumps while extending 1¼ inches from the rotor for superior debris clearance and reduced clogging. With the ability to grind 25 inches above ground and 14 inches below ground, the 3P40 quickly eliminates large stumps that would challenge smaller machines. A 30-inch-wide, 12-inch-deep stump can be ground in as little as two minutes when paired with a 120 HP tractor.
The hydraulic swing and lift cylinders provide precise cutting control and a wide 65-degree grinding arc, reducing tractor repositioning and increasing productivity. Combined with a heavy-duty stabilizer base, floating debris deflector, hardened steel bushings, and six free replacement teeth, the Baumalight 3P40 is built to deliver reliable, professional-grade performance year after year.
