The Forax HD72 Heavy Duty Mulcher is engineered to handle more demanding clearing jobs than lighter mulchers. With a wide 72-inch cutting width and a robust ~910 lb frame, it’s capable of tackling thick brush, small trees, dense undergrowth, and overgrown vegetation. It requires a hydraulic flow of 25–30 GPM, meaning it is best suited for machines with substantial hydraulic capacity.

The cutter system, with 46 rotatable blades, is designed so that wear is extended (you can rotate or flip cutters instead of replacing them immediately). This helps reduce maintenance downtime and cost. The machine's weight and design are balanced to allow versatility: it can be mounted on tractors, skid steers, graders or other compatible machines, provided they meet the hydraulic and power requirements.

Because of its heavier build and higher demands, it is not ideal for light duty or small machines — it’s made for more rugged, frequent, or large-area clearing operations.
