The Baumalight RSS580 Skidsteer Log Splitter allows one operator to split logs up to 12–20 ft long efficiently from the cab. Mounted on a skidsteer using a skidsteer plate, the RSS580 uses a hydraulically-driven planetary drive to deliver up to 3,800 ft/lbs of torque to the splitting head. The splitting bit consists of two helical spirals joined at a hardened tip for easy boring. With a 2” hex shaft or flange mount and integrated protective shield, the RSS580 provides safe, durable, and high-performance log splitting horizontally or vertically.
